Harvey Fracht, M.D. is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, LASIK surgeon in Philadelphia and the Founder of the Conshohocken Eye & Laser Center in greater Philadelphia where he provides LASIK in Philadelphia, Custom LASIK and other types of Lasik Eye Surgery in Philadelphia. Dr. Fracht received his Medical Degree at New York University School of Medicine and completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at the New York University Medical Center. In addition Dr. Fracht completed a Fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at Wills Eye Hospital of the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During his Fellowship at Wills eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Fracht received specialized training and experience in LASIK surgery. Dr. Fracht has been serving the medical and surgical eyecare needs of Pennsylvania patients since 2002 as the Director of Corneal and Refractive Surgery at the Penn State Milton Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. In this role Dr. Fracht had responsibility for LASIK patient care, LASIK research and LASIK education for eye surgery residents. Dr. Fracht has been providing Laser Surgery in Philadelphia with the Excimer Laser for correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism since shortly after its FDA approval.
