David McCartney, M.D. is a Professor and Chairman of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences in Lubbock where he provides LASIK, Custom Wavefront LASIK and other types of Laser Eye Surgery in Texas. He is also the Medical Director of the Great Plains Lions Eye Bank. Dr. McCartney received his Medical Degree at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio Texas and completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at the University of California-San Francisco. In addition Dr. McCartney completed a Fellowship in Corneal and Anterior Segment Surgery at the Wilmer Eye Institute of The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. Dr.McCartney has been serving the medical and surgical eyecare needs of patients in the Lubbock area for over 15 years. Dr. McCartney has been providing Laser Eye Surgery with the Excimer Laser in Lubbock,Texas for the correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism since shortly after its FDA approval. Dr. McCartney is an experienced Texas LASIK surgeon who has performed all types of Laser Eye Surgery procedures including LASIK, Custom LASIK and other Lasik Eye Surgery procedures.

Dr. McCartney maintains research interests in the areas of corneal, cataract and refractive surgery in the specific areas of drug delivery to the ocular surface using collagen shields, efficacy of antibiotics and biomechanical factors effecting astigmatism in corneal transplantation surgery.

He is Board Certified Comprehensive Ophthalmologist and Texas LASIK surgeon at the Texas Tech University health Sciences Center in Lubbock, texas where he provides LASIK, Custom Wavefront LASIK, specialized LASIK Eye other types of Laser Eye Surgery in Texas. Dr. Gregg received his Medical Degree at the The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas and completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at the Texas tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. Dr. Gregg has been serving the medical and surgical eyecare needs of patients in the Lubbock, Texas area for over 10 years.
