 | Howard V. Gimbel, M.D., M.P.H., F.R.C.S.C. Howard Gimbel, M.D. is a Professor of Ophthalmology and Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. Dr. Gimbel is an internationally recognized LASIK surgeon and Cataract surgeon. He serves on the Advisory Board of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and was named one of the Top 25 Ophthalmologists of the 20th Century by that society for his contributions to Laser Eye Surgery such as LASIK as well as Cataract Surgery. In addition he holds a faculty appointment at the University of California--San Francisco. Dr.Gimbel received his Medical Degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed a Residency in Ophthalmology at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles,California.
He is Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons-Canada.

 | Julio Narvaez, M.D. Julio Narvaez, M.D.is a LASIK surgeon at Loma Linda University Medical Center where he holds the faculty appointment of Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology. Dr. Narvaez received his Medical Degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California and completed a Residency in Ophthalmology at Loma Linda University Medical Center as well. In addition he attended a Fellowship in Cornea, Anterior Segment and Refractive Surgery at Emory University Eye Center. Dr. Narvaez performs all types of Laser Eye Surgery including LASIK and Custom LASIK at Loma Linda. In addition he is actively involved in LASIK education for Ophthalmology residents and LASIK clinical research on new LASIK procedures using the Excimer Laser. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. | |
