Kent Wellish, M.D. is a LASIK Surgeon and the Founder of Wellish Vision Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada where he provides LASIK, Custom LASIK and other specialized LASIK Eye Surgery in Las Vegas. Dr. Wellish received his Medical Degree at the University of Arizona and completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Kansas. In addition Dr. Wellish completed a Fellowship in Corneal and Refractive Surgery at UCLA-Jules Stein Eye Institute where he received specialized training and experience in LASIK surgery as well as participated in LASIK education for other eye surgeons.

Dr. Wellish was the first LASIK surgeon to perform Laser Eye Surgery in Nevada in 1994. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and has been serving the medical and surgical eyecare needs of patients in the Las Vegas area for over 10 years. Dr. Wellish has been providing Laser Eye Surgery in Las Vegas with the Excimer Laser for correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism since its approval in 1995.
