 | Michael D. Wagoner, M.D. Michael D. Wagnoner, M.D. is a Professor of Ophthalmology and LASIK surgeon at the University of Iowa in Iowa City where he provides LASIK surgery for Iowa patients as well as Custom LASIK, LASEK and other all types of Laser Eye Surgery. In addition to being a LASIK surgeon at Iowa, Dr. Wagoner is a specialist in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at the University of Iowa. Dr. Wagoner received his Medical Degree at the Baylor College of Medicine and completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary of Harvard Medical School. He also completed a Fellowship in Cornea and External Disease at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary of Harvard Medical School. Dr.Wagoner has been providing Laser Eye Surgery with the Excimer Laser for correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism since its FDA approval. He is an experienced LASIK surgeon in Iowa and performs all types of of Laser Eye Surgery procedures including LASIK at Iowa, Custom LASIK and other Laser Vision Correction procedures for Iowa patients. Dr. Wagoner has research interests in the areas of eye banking and corneal transplants, risk factors for graft survival after corneal transplantation and donor risk factors for graft survival in complicated corneal surgery.  | Kenneth Goins, M.D. Kenneth Goins, M.D. is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and LASIK surgeon at the University of Iowa where he provides LASIK, Custom LASIK and other types of Laser Eye Surgery. He is also the Assistant Medical Director of the Iowa Lions Eye Bank. Dr.Goins received his Medical Degree at the University of Kentucky his Residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Kentucky as well. In addition Dr. Goins completed a Fellowship in Corneal and External Disease at the Duke Unversity Eye Center. Dr. Goins is an experienced LASIK surgeon has been providing Laser Eye Surgery with the Excimer Laser for Laser Vision Correction for several years. Dr, Goins is active at the University of Iowa Department of Ophthalmology in performing Lasik Eye Surgery and routinely performs Custom LASIK and other Laser Vision Correction procedures.
