He currently holds appointments as Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Georgetown University Medical Center and Attending Staff at Children’s Hospital National Medical Center and Washington Hospital Medical Center.

Dr. Stopak is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologists, the Medical Society of the District of Columbia, the Montgomery County Medical Society and has served as President of the Washington D.C.
