Scott M. Goldstein, M.D. is an eye physician and surgeon with specialized training in both Ophthalmology and Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Goldstein earned his Medical Degree from the Boston University School of Medicine and completed a Residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Pennsylvania Scheie Eye Institute in Philadelphia. In addition he attended a Fellowship in Pediatric and Adult Ophthalmic Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Goldstein is an active member of the Wills Eye Hospital Oculoplastic Service in Philadelphia holds an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at both the University of Pennsylvania and the Jefferson Medical College.
Dr. Goldstein is a specialist in the medical and surgical treatment of conditions such droopy eyelids, called Ptosis, facial skin lesions, dry eyes and tearing problems, problems of the bones around the eye, called the Orbit, complications from previous eyelid surgery and problems resulting from accidents or trauma to the face.
He provides non-surgical cosmetic treatments such as BOTOX ® Cosmetic Injections as well as “fillers” such as Juvederm ™ and Restylane ® to help smooth fine lines and wrinkles. In addition, his surgical experience in facial cosmetic plastic surgery makes him an highly regarded expert in the treatment of baggy or puffy eyelids, heavy eye brows, facial aging, and more pronounced lines and wrinkles with techniques such as blepharoplasty or eye lifts, brow lifts and mid-facelifts and full facelifts.
Dr. Goldstein is a Fellow of both the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
