 | Randy Burks, M.D., F.A.C.S. Randy Burks, M.D., F.A.C.S. is an eye physician and surgeon at Ophthalmology Consultants in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where he provides BOTOX® Cosmetic Injections and treatment. Dr. Burks earned his Medical Degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine and completed a Residency in Ophthalmology at the Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center. In addition he attended a Fellowship in Eye Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Prior to entering practice in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Dr. Burks served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Uniformed University of Health Sciences where he was a Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force.
Dr. Burks is a specialist in the medical and surgical treatment of conditions such droopy eyelids, called Ptosis, facial skin lesions, dry eyes and tearing problems, problems of the bones around the eye, called the Orbit, and problems resulting from accidents or trauma to the face.
He provides non-surgical cosmetic treatments such as BOTOX ® Cosmetic Injections to help smooth fine lines and wrinkles. In addition, his surgical experience in facial cosmetic plastic surgery makes him an respected and an expert in the treatment of baggy or puffy eyelids, heavy eye brows, facial aging, and more pronounced lines and wrinkles using cosmetic plastic surgery techniques such as blepharoplasty or eye lifts, brow lifts and mid-facelifts.
Dr. Burks is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the American College of Surgeons as well as being Chief of Staff of the Outpatient Surgery Center at Coral Springs, the Past President, Broward County Ophthalmology Society, the Past Chairman, Board of Trustees of Northwest Medical Center and serves as the Vice Chief of Surgery of Northwest Medical Center.
